Some of my notable and most enjoyable work has included designing e-learning at the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies, writing and reporting for Marketplace on public radio, and designing systems for information management in a number of settings–including for Yahoo! TV and Disney.com.

Writing
Yahoo! articles
At Yahoo! I had the opportunity to write pieces for Yahoo! Movies and Entertainment. Some of the more popular included:
Surprising Facts About ‘It’s A Wonderful Life’ (pdf)
Miley Cyrus’ New Grown-Up Role (pdf)
Animated Field ‘Up’ for Grabs (pdf only — original no longer online)
Bullock Bags Two Golden Globe Noms (pdf only — original no longer online)
Skills
My heart lies in analogizing, writing, entertaining, and teaching.
I am an excellent verbal and written communicator. One of my most valuable skills is an ability to synthesize and communicate ideas across audiences. In my work, that’s included university professors, public radio listeners, Army officers, film producers, nurses, software developers, and entertainment journalists. I have exercised this skill as a writer, editor, producer, public speaker, radio broadcaster, live event emcee, tutor, and teacher.
